Maintenance Portable equipment such as Fire Extinguishers play a valuable role in the early stages of Fire Fighting. Not only are they portable but are readily available for use on the offending fire. (They are not meant for use on large fires as they only have a limited capacity)In the unfortunate event of a fire, you need to know that the fire extinguisher that you reach for will serve its purpose. An important factor in their effectiveness is that persons using the appliances have been trained in the correct procedures on using fire extinguishers. We offer a full maintenance service, which complies with British Standards 5306-3 2000/2003. These can be carried out annually or bi-annually according to your needs. All work is carried out by competent & trained engineers. Upon completion of any service work a Certificate of Inspection is left for your records, detailing any work that has been carried out, along with a Card of Conformity. Any recommendations will be advised at the time of servicing. All extinguishers will have a Maintenance Service Label so as to identify the type of Maintenance, our Name & Address, the Service Engineer’s identity & the date of the Maintenance Service. After each visit by a Service Engineer the data from each extinguisher can be entered into a Central Register (i.e. Fire Logbook) so making important information readily available. We offer a fully professional maintenance service at very competitive prices. Fire Risk Assessment Due to recent changes in European and UK legislation emphasis is now on all employers to be personally responsible for the provision of fire and safety measures within their workplace. Under current FIRE LEGISLATION employers are required to carry out a Fire Risk Assessment and record their findings Our Fire Risk Assessment combines current technology along with the knowledge of Fire Safety Experts. Upon carrying out their assessment on site, the relevant information is gathered and collated into a Personal Binder, which forms a Summary Report, Action Plan, Significant Findings, Photographs of hazards and a Fire Logbook. All this provides the customer with exact details they need to comply with the Fire Legislation. Additional options include Floor Plans, Occupancy Report and an Internet version. Staff Training We can offer a range of staff training packages including our in-house practical training session, which includes: A classroom session a Video presentation and a Practice demonstration For more information on the above, please call us on: 01384 279149 |
